I did the electronics and programming in this project. A dancer wears a sensor suit that translates movement into audio waves. The performance has three segments that represent different states of brain activity while asleep.
The sound based on the binaural beat, two frequencies slightly out of phase. Although this project was using quadrophonic sound so it may have been quadnaural beat at one point.
The sensor suit is made up of two photo-resistors, two bend sensors, an infra-red distance sensor and an accelerometer.
